No free pass on this one.
Remember God gave us "Free Will" to choose between
GOOD or EVIL.
The Devil made me do it - is just an excuse for not choosing
the right path.
Sometimes it's just the right thing to say so, if you have been caught with your hand in the cookie jar.
Life should not be so serious that you can not have a lot of fun.
And if you listen to the preaching of some people than just about everything you do is a sin. God wants us to enjoy our life and be prosperous.

The devil tries to make us "do" all kinds of things. As Christians, we should do our best to avoid temptation. That is how the devil gets us. God knows that it is hard for humans at times to avoid temptation and that we are weak. That is why He sent His Son. When we sin, we have a way to repent of our sin. The thing is that people don't realize that the more faith that you have and the stronger you are in your convictions, that is when the devil works extra hard to get you to sin.

The Devil can never make you do something. You do everything of your own free will. You always have a choice. So, no. Sorry! No free passes!:)

what makes man or human being special is that we are given free will,we are rational being therefore we make choices..but the disadvantage of that is that we are now responsible for the choices we make..we cannot accuse and point finger on anyone and blame them for our actions...you'll know you committed a sin because we all have "conscience" it's just that some have calloused conscience that they refuse to listen to what their conscience says.nobody gets a free pass..a sin is a sin,big or small...more than anyone else it is you who knows the right answer to this question.

It is still a sin, because you are the one who committed it. You get a free pass if you repent.
Isaiah 1:18 NIV
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

free pass..that is why it is so wonderful to be a Christian..no one need take responsibility for their actions. No matter what kind of life you live, all you have to do is say you believe in Christ JUST before dying...and you go straight to heaven! Isn't that convenient...my kind of religion.

Nope. The law will take care of you and put you in an asylum or prison or death....so you can be with the Devil.

JAMES 1:13-15 WHEN TEMPTED, NO ONE SHOULD SAY, "GOD IS TEMPTING ME." FOR GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED BY EVIL, NOR DOES HE TEMPT ANYONE; BUT EACH ONE IS TEMPTED WHEN, BY HIS OWN EVIL DESIRE, HE IS DRAGGED AWAY AND ENTICED. THEN, AFTER DESIRE HAS CONCEIVED, IT GIVES BIRTH TO SIN, AND SIN, WHEN IT IS FULL-GROWN, GIVES BIRTH TO DEATH.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:12-13 SO, IF YOU THINK YOU ARE STANDING FIRM. BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DON'T FALL! NO TEMPTATION HAS SEIZED YOU EXCEPT WHAT IS COMMON TO MAN. AND GOD IS FAITHFUL; HE WILL NOT LET YOU BE TEMPTED BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN BEAR. BUT WHEN YOU ARE TEMPTED, HE WILL ALSO PROVIDE A WAY OUT SO THAT YOU CAN STAND UNDER IT.
