I went to the parade this morning and I am having a BBQ at my house this afternoon, then we are going dowtown to watch the fireworks.

What are you doing to celebrate CANADA DAY?

Or for the Americans out there; what are you going to do on July 4?

I'm going back to bed for a nap, since I was out all night watching a friend's band play. I'll probably head out and check out several local events a little later, Fort Calgary has something set up..

such beautiful weather, I'll be out all night again!

Happy Canada Day!

We had a wonderful Canada day. The weather was fantastic -- clear blue sky as far as you could see -- and we paddled in a 20km race. It was awesome. Even saw some seals in the water!
Came home to a salmon barbeque (what else?) and will watch the fireworks tonight.
Hope your day was great.

Walked downtown where they had a lot of vendors - (good food, clothes, jewellery, etc). Got some fries, checked out a few yard sales. Then there was a band playing, then we saw the fireworks display.
