hhhhmmmm,I never thought of it that way.I think Fox's idea was to legalize the small amounts to flush out the dealers.That way they could bust the suppliers.But thats just me.

Hmmmmm. Given when he announced it ...the day after the Day without a Gringo March, it didn't show much respect for the USA.
What I'd like to know, is how and why it was changed.
We can get them to change drug laws and issues but not immigration problems. Makes one wonder what kind of games are going on. Hey don't bogart that joint ...I need to drop out of this discussion for a while.

I don't know if that was Bush per se, but US officials did warn that many Americans would come down each day and heavily on the weekends to get high and drive like that back.

i think it was a threat look when he said it right in the heat of the immigration debate not to beat out the dealers
