theres a farmer with a boat.he has a chiken,a fox, and a bag of seeds.the farmer needs to take his anamals and the bag to the other side of the river. the farmer could only take one item at a time but the fox will eat the chiken and the chiken will eat the seeds.how do you do it.

The farmer takes the chicken across first then he goes back to get the fox.. and crosses the river and leaves the fox but takes the chicken with him to the other side and leaves the chicken but takes the bag of seedand leaves it with the fox and goes back to get the chicken and crosses the river once more and all are on the same side!!

Farmer comes back, takes the seeds, goes across, and swaps the seeds out for the chicken.
So now, the seeds are on the other side, and the chicken is in the boat.
Farmer goes back to the starting side and takes the chicken out of the boat, and puts the fox in the boat.
Farmer puts the fox on the other side.
Farmer comes back, puts the chicken in the boat, puts the chicken on the other side, and collapses from exhaustion :)

First take the chicken over, leaving fox and seeds with no harm. Then come back, bring the fox over. Then take the chicken back with you and get the seeds leaving the chicken to take the seeds over to the fox. The come back and get the chicken.

take the chicken first, because the fox wont eat the seeds, then go back and get the fox, ..............well never mind....that wont work either because the chicken and the fox will still together on the other side... i give up
