I already thought of putting in Starbucks card and redbull pack but what else?

Tell you one thing that is nice, and has been sort of a standing gift to girls in my family when they go off to college.
Go buy one of those small Sears home toolbox kits, they have hammer, screwdrivers, etc...all the things you need for little things around the dorm room. We always toss in 3-4 rolls of quarters, to help with laundry, a couple gift cards like a Walmart or a local shoe store (necessary tools for girls lol).
And with my daughter I taped a couple of 20's to the bottom of the tray that fits inside. A little something for her to discover at a later date.
She loved it...she hadn't been in the room one whole day yet, and had made 8-9 friends, by having tools they needed for this to that. Great way to meet the others.
You can add anything you want to this, just keep it all in the small toolbox to keep the storage space small.

jimmy had a great idea wow mine was to get a fiel box and inside each pocket stick in somthing she could use under the apropriate letter like c chocolate g gift card m money so on it would be fun for your family to come up with something for each letter and she could use the file box later.

AHHHHH! Law Scool!!! I remember the good ol' days in law school! LOL
maybe some earplugs would be good because she will have to SERIOUSLY concentrate and it's best not to have a bunch of noisy people around while you are briefing cases and trying to concentrate.
