Yes! When I was 21, I went to purchase condoms at Wal-mart. When I asked a store clerk to help me, and if she knew the price of them, she must have thought I was a little too young, because she proceeded to "out-loud" (very loud in fact) tell me "are you sure you want these ones, these ones over here are cheaper and they have very good lubricant." Everyone including an older couple just stared at me. I was so embarrassed that I quickly took off.

What's to be embarassed about? Wouldn't care how big a deal the clerk made of it. All they're doing is announcing to the world: "Hey - This Guy Is Getting Laid! And He's Being Smart About It!" - Let them

I worked a cash when I was 17 and this young couple came in to buy groceries. (They were around twenty, I'd guess.)
It didn't scan. I had to call for a price check. The girl was mortified and I felt so bad. Honestly, sometimes the clerk isn't doing it to be a jerk. It was a huge grocery store and they were far away from the cash. I had no choice but to call. :(

The only time a clerk gave me a hard time was when an older guy was asking me what I was going to use them for. Since he was saying this so that every customer could hear it I said back to him that his wife asked me to pick some up and use them with her because her husband is such a dumb-***. I remember two older ladies snickering and one of the kids that worked there gave me a thumbs-up.

No. Nothing to be embarassed about. I usually embarass the clerk. I say loudly is that the biggest you carry. Can I try one on.

no but i was buying condoms the other day and i was with my sister in law and she yelled out, "spring for the ribbed ones". i was pretty embarassed. anyway, if someone made you feel bad you should just look them in the eye and tell them you are being responsible and maybe they should try it.

Would you think i'd have a problem with that?

I think if anyone is getting embarrassed buying condoms . . . they probably shouldn't be having sex. Would you rather become a parent?
