People go and believe in gods for the fear of the after life.... nothing more and there is no reasoning why we are here we evolved and continuing to evolve and were going to die out bottom line.
The Ocean of Tao
Cannot be called an ocean
For there is nothing else to give it name.
There is no sky above it,
No earth below it,
No shore that surrounds it.
And so it "is".
And yet, "it" is not.
For what is "it" if there is nothing else?
And so there is only "one".
And yet, there is not.
For "one" to be, there must be "two".
And there is not.
There is only entire.
And yet, there is not.
For to be entire Is to measure complete.
And can there be measure Of what has no beginning or end?
Void of name; Void of substance; Void of measure.
Such things define nothingness-
But only if such things "are".
And, since the "are" not, What is?
Everything and Nothing-
The Ocean of Tao
That can not be called an ocean,
or even Tao.

I feel that christianity and islam are maltheist religions.
1. Maltheists note the presence of evil in a world created by an omnipotent God and conclude that this God must be evil—since, being omnipotent, he could have chosen not to create evil, but willfully chose to do so anyway.
2. They see his demands for worship as bullying and coercion. A truly benevolent God, they say, would neither need nor want his creations to worship him. They also see his promise of "salvation" from eternal torture as blackmail—what is God saving us from, they ask, if not his own willful wrath? Isn't this like (for example) calling a school bully a "savior" for not beating you up when you give him your lunch money?

Fear and faith are two different things separated by a thin line. It depends on the heart of the person whether or not he is genuinely happy with and grateful to God for his blessings, or if they're afraid of His "wrath". Most Christians have a positively hopeful view of God and respect Him out of gratitude and genuine love, not fear.

even if it was described that way it would not make it true! It would be more true to describe non belief in God as irrational!

Anything could be described as anything, but that would not mean it was true.
Catholics believe the desire for God is written in the human heart, because each person is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw each person to himself.
With love in Christ.

Yes. But then it could aslo be called a belief in a higher power and the one true way.
It could also have something to do with the flying spaghetti monster.

Everybody has their reason to believe in god. Usually it is rooted in ignorance. There are so many problems in the bible. Why would god make plants before the sun?

If you think it is irrational, then feel free to define it as whatever you wish.
Those who don't feel the same way will tell you otherwise, not matter what.

I consider it more like suoerstitions or even OCD, if you don't keep doing a certain routine something bad will happen to you.
