I think Al Gore is gearing up for a Pres. run. (yah, I know he said he wasn't going to run.) He's using the global warming thang, An Inconvenient Truth flick to get into media spotlight and as I pondered any secondary messages that came with the viewing of that film, it seemed to me it was all about making Gore look all presidential and leadership material. Maybe he is. Quien Sabe? I wonder what his stated opinion is on the Ill. Immigration thang? Anyone know for sure?

I don't but environmentalists are generally against overpopulation.

However, environmentalists often are democrats and are uncomfortable on this issue.

When Gore ran before I formed the opinion that he would take whatever position he thought would get him elected, kind of like Kerry. That is why I voted against him.

The truth is that none of the potential democratic candidates (of which Al Gore is the most popular, I might add) can capture more than 10% of the vote currently. That means they have zero chance of getting elected.

Al Gore will NEVER have the chance to deal with the illegal alien issue. The democrats have acted like such freaks over the last 6 years that it would be impossible for them to win the next presidential election. And it is highly probable the next republican president will be in office for 8 years, not 4.

The only chance the democrats have to regain a footing in american politics is for them to purge themselves of liberals and the left. They need to become a conservative party, like they were back before the Chicago riots were used by liberals to take them over.

He deal with them by offering them cash to do "jobs americans don't want to do", like work in his strip mine where he abuses the environment. Then he would travel around the US in his fossil fuel burning plane and get into his giant convoy of SUVs to go to a speech, where he would explain how horrible the current government is, and how he is looking out for the aliens, and collect $1000 /plate. (please note his hypocrisy)

He would then give away all that the "legal americans" have worked for by raising the taxes of the so-called rich-americans in a punitrive manner, forgetting that he is in the "multi-millionaire club himself (he would have his accountant figure out how to get out of this one). Eventually the aliens would be given the keys to the country, and then evertything would be GREAT! The evil capitalist white man would be striken down and put in his place, and the illegal aliens would not be offended by our selfish attitudes.

Summary: He is a typical politician

He'd probably love to have all the illegals work on the family's tobacco plantation. How's that for an "inconvenient truth"? The big hypocrite made all his money selling cigarettes!

I think he'll try to leave it alone. Whether republicans will let him or not is something of a question mark. I believe he'll try to do what Bush is trying to do now with the guest worker deal and it will hurt him in the end.

Gore would cater to their desires, in an attempt to win their votes. Maybe then he'd win the presidency?

he would probably do nothing like all the rest, but if he came out saying he was going to really shut the border down (with no huge gaps like the current plan), crack down on the illegals, send them back, and go after the employers, I would vote for him, and I don't vote for many Dem's.

I don't think he'd lose so much sleep over it. If an illegal alien can take your job, you're one of the duller bulbs on the tree for sure.

He probably will have the same platforms like Bill does, not doing enough and blame the past president for the same problem.

he would probably build houses for them and then raise taxes on americans to pay for them to stay here.. then eventually give them the right to vote.. why not? (sarcasm)
