My BF is 20 years older, (I'm 27) and have never been happier in my life! Every relationship no matter what the age difference has to work on the same levels - maturity, trust, interests, balance, and goals in life. If you connect in these ways, it will work. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't keep you from experiencing it.

The only way this can work is if both people are older - like in their 40s and up. I used to date guys 15+ years older then me when I was 20 and it was HARD! They were established in their jobs, had nice homes and cars, and knew what they wanted - meanwhile, I didn't know what I wanted or what to do. I think the best age difference is 10 years or under. Keep it within the same decade.

Difficult but possible. It really depends on the ages and maturity level of the people involved, as well as whether they have support from friends and family. A 20 year old and a 35 year old, probably not; a 50 year old and a 65 year old, probably OK.
Best wishes and God bless.

depends on age, cause someone of 25 will have a better chance of surviving the age gap than they were 15.
the sex of the person as men mature slower than women..(sorry guys) and are at leaset 3 years behind
and personality..........cause some people are young at heart while others over mature for there age!!!

Depends on the age bracket.
30 year olds dating a 15 year old would not work out so well...

Not in my opinion, because you are going through totally different life stages. However there is no definite formula for a successful relationship, so if you feel strongly this is the right person for you, you never know, you may beat the odds.

It can, just because there is an age gap doesn't mean that the maturity and love are not on the same level... Anything is possible.

Depends whether or not that makes one of you underage. The older you both are, the less age differences matter.

As long as the younger person has the emotional maturity to cope...it doesnt have to be a marriage, just a relationship.
