My freind did a report on tootsie pop, he said that it is anywhere from 200 to about 100,000 there is no real answer because everyone has a different tongue

omg, yes! back in 8th grade, that was one of my classmate's science fair project. she had us count how many licks until we got to the center...
i think it was somewhere between 150 - 200 licks, but we could only lick it from the same side and used only the same part of our tongue, you know for consistency

no. It is hard to resist the chocolate center. It took 317 licks to get to the center
