i was looking at buying a new car. i seen some of these new fords with the 6 speed auto trans. does anybody know any details on these, good, bad. need your input

the 6 speed has been in a Ford 500 for almost 2 years and I haven't heard anything bad from them. Other than normal maintainance, the Fleets been running pretty good with them.
there are other 6 speeds out, like in the new for 2006 explorer that had growing pains at first however.

Well it just came out soon which means it's not fully developed (yet). If I were you I would wait two or three months to see if it would be developed or not.
