Again you are being foolish about how politics works, just because this guy appeals to your predjudices does not mean he is an electable politician. More like the typical zealot he simply rallies those who agree with his message of hate like a David Koresh or a Jim Jones.

Tancredo’s crusade put him on collision course with the Bush administration and the Democratic Party, both eager to implement a guest-worker program that will serve the interests of big business.

Because of this opposition within Washington, Tancredo has fashioned himself as a right-wing populist, reaching out to the right-wing base of the Republican Party. This right-wing fringe is exactly what the Republicans are steering away from in their moderate approach to 2008 with McCain being the moderate figurehead to launch that campaign.

Tancredo’s hostility towards Mexican immigrants blends political expediency with racist opposition to the cultural integration of Mexicans in the Southwest, predicated on the superiority of “Anglo-American” culture.

Last December, Tancredo helped copilot the Sensenbrenner bill through the House. This legislation, which was destroyed by the May 1 2006 Great American Boycott, sought to make undocumented immigration a felony, tighten restrictions on employers and extend the length of detention for those apprehended. This was a monumental failure because a coalition of grassroots activists, many who are undocumented workers put a bullet in the head of the racist motives of such radical politics advocated by Tancredo.

Americans are by and large moderates, we do not like radical change be it Left or Right (fascist), we like our lives the way they are.

That is why we built an immigrant-rights movement that turned the tables on the likes of Tancredo--and the racism and violence spawned by his crusade against immigrant workers.

How about instead of Tom Tancredo for President we elected Maureen Dowd for President and Tom Tancredo for Vice President

I think he may be too much of a one issue candidate to win against a strong Democrat contender, so I am not sure. I'd have to look into his position on other issues. I'd be happy to do that if he ran, though.

FoxNews - DEFINITELY I would vote for him against McCain. I'd vote for HILLARY against McCain after the Senate Bill he thought up, and nothing else I can think of would make me ever vote to put Bill back in the White House.

Enlightenment - I SINCERELY doubt you are American.

I didn't even know of him-I will look him up.

Above post-not Hillary-please
she has been in more scandals than I can count-not convicted true-but where there is a lot of smoke there is fire. All greed related. She can be bought-she will not get my vote!
And remember her health plan-do you think the Pharmaceutical sponsored Bill and her-no wonder nothing happened why they were in-another coincidences?
Thanks-Seal

It would also depend upon where he stand on other issues. For example, I am anti-abortion, anti-same sex marriage, pro-gun (and I own several and have a concealed weapons permit), I am pro-death penalty, pro-English only in America, and as everyone here knows I am very ANTI-ILLEGAL ALIEN.
