Your energy bill will not only depend upon what your AC unit consumes while running, but also how long the unit is running per day. At 10 amps and 120 volts, the power consumption is 1.2 AC kilowatts per hour or 28 kilowatts per day and thats on a single phase. Since most AC units are two phase, you can roughly double that number. If you assume 28 kw per day times two times 30 days time 10 cents per kilowatt-hour. That's more than $100 per month just for the AC unit.
