St. Kitts and Nevis are VERY British--ask them and they'll tell you. There are all types of beaches, but not clothing optional--too British for that! St. Martin or another French island would be the best choice of clothing optional. Beaches on the Atlantic side of the island are very calm. Pinney's beach on Nevis is absolutely wonderful. Calm with miles of pure white sand. (The Four Seasons is located here.)

St Kitts and Nevis used to be British islands of the West Indies!
The only two French islands are Guadeloupe and Martinique, Haiti used to be French (until 1802).

i went there last year it is very beautiful and the sand is not black and nasty, it is not french and they speak english there. You can catch a ferry and go to Nevis which is even more beautiful. it is clean and my only advise to you would be not to wear your winter clothes. Normal everyday clothes.
