The car runs, but just blew one of it's seals in the engine. I think selling it for parts is the best idea, but I don't know where to do so. I thought about junkyards, but was told they wouldn't PAY for the car. I had to replace the trunk hood a few years ago, and paid around $200 bucks for it- is there anywhere I can sell it off for prices like that?

Local auto adds or just put a for sale sign in the window for sale "as is", best offer takes it all. First, you may want to check out cost of repair and if not to serious may be repairable and worth more for sale. Is easier to sell a running car than one that is not, but you may get lucky. sometime local repair shops will take for free to fix and sell during their slow times, but car should look good.

What model is it? The 85-87 Corolla was the car that Tach drove in "Initial D". If it is the AE-86 model (Hachi-roku!) You might find a crazy buyer out there ...
Does it have pop-up headlights? that could be the one...

Try the scrap yard. Where I'm from, steel goes for 85 dollars a ton. Not too bad if it's a bunch of junk any ole way.
