Why, really---WHY does everyone seem to worry so much about religion? Is there any religion with authentic proof? Why should anyone be so arrogant to claim that a theory they believe on life is correct and every other one is wrong? If anyone has an answer I haven't heard, please let me know.

A major tenet of religion is that you are right and everyone else is wrong. You are walking in faith, and all others are sinners. If only they would convert to your way of thinking and be saved. I think anyone who claims to speak for God is arrogant. The truth is, no one really knows for certain that there is a God. I think the teachings of the bible have some instrumental value--teaching us to be faithful to each other, to try to do good for the benefit of humanity, etc. But do I believe that any of these events actually happened? No. They're metaphorical. I still respect that others may believe differently, but urge them to be sane and logical about it.

religion is a way to bring order and security to an insecure and uncivilized people. The only proof I can think of are ghosts, specters and poltergeist. I'm not saying there is nothing after death, but I'm quite sure everyone is wrong about the correct "religion". and you cant leave out the scamers that push faith for profit purposes.

Just for the sake of argument, pretend that you believe God to be the real, personal God that, say, Christians believe Him to be.

Now, how would that affect your outlook on life? Would your reaction be, "Meh, so what." Or, would you instead feel like maybe since He's the creator of the universe, and he's personal and not just a nondescript force, that He's deserving of your attention?

If I hold a set of beliefs and someone else holds a set of beliefs which contradict my beliefs, then of course I believe that their beliefs are wrong. That follows logically. Otherwise you don't really believe what you say you believe, and you don't actually have any beliefs at all.

It's something people are usually raised to believe, and certain people are raised to believe that their religion is the best and they have to force it upon everybody they can. I once saw a church that said on it's announcement thing "Because Eternity is too long to be wrong", it goes unsaid that I was chocking on my rage at their arrogance.

Stop and think about it for a moment.
Would anyone claim a religion if he/she didn't believe it was the truth?

Religion is not what is so important as in the belief of God,
If you don't believe in God what do you believe in then?
And why does it brother YOU that God is important to some...
I hope people like you are so sure there is no GOD cause when you die your in for a rude awakening and then YES it will be to late.
His giving you so many chances on earth to accept him and you deny him , YES people when you die as heartless as you may feel it is, its to LATE THEN,,

Religion isn't just something that is a separate entity. It affects all aspects of the believers life. You can't just "stop caring" about religion, because it isn't just a single aspect of ones existence.

Some see in strictly black or white, never realizing there are many shades of grey in between. The really important issues here, are freedom of religion and seperation of Church & State!

Why, really---WHY does it matter to you what others think or believe? Everyone has a choice, including you. Live with it.
