I hope they would both feel guilty.

Your question might benefit from some re-working. The concept is an awkward one.

Wow...
I don't know where some of the answerers here are getting that non-believers wouldn't care if they killed someone. Lack of God does not mean lack of morals or knowing right from wrong.
I have never killed a person and never would - not because God tells me not to, but because I know right from wrong.

Since when does God teach us our morals? When I was a kid, God never came down and sat with me on my couch to tell me about sex, drugs and the others bad things in life. Last I checked, it was my mother and father.

I feel really bad for those of you that think non-believers are evil and would have no guilt about killing a person. You must really live everday in fear that one day a non-believer will kill you because they have no God telling them not to.

a christian would know that killing is a sin, so they wouldn't kill

but an atheist, may still think killing is wrong, being without a god, doesn't mean they don't have a sense of right and wrong.

i have meet alot of 'religious' church going people, that think they can do whatever, just as long as they goto church once a week

If you do not feel guilty for murdering somebody you are a fool that should be taken off this planet. You are heartless. Go away.

You used a split infinitive. I don't know any Christians that do that, so your argument is invalid. Come back when you have a real one. :) This is called a loaded question.

I would hope both. Religious affiliation does not signify what kind of person someone actually is.
