I recently got a message from a guy that responded to my online personals ad several months back. We didnt' really chat or anything as at the time I was looking for someone in my city but have since tried to be more open to someone who lives outside the city. He emailed me and I emailed him back. It bothers me that he never says anything in his emails other than o.k. or gives me the best time to call him. We talked on the phone and he wants to meet now. I would lillke to meet hime but it bothers me a little that we haven't chatted online and have only talked on the phone once. I don't think he is married or anything because I have his phone number and name and all but it seems if I meet a guy who I haven't really exchanges info with, they drop a bomb on me within minutes of meeting, and then I know I am wasting my time with them and should have stayed home. I met a guy once whom was divorced, which I can handle but when we met he told me he had been divorced 3 times.

I suppose it is ok. A lot of people are not comfortable writing, whether online or off, but it doesn't mean they're not nice people or don't earn good money, or even are inarticulate. But writing is not one of the skills they have.

Well, this guy doesn't seem very interested in getting to know you or you him. He may just be looking for sex. So, I would definitely not meet him until things changed. You obviously don't feel comfortable meeting him, so don't do it. You don't know anything about him it sounds like. If he's not willing to make you feel comfortable then it just isn't worth it. You could end up hurt. If this guy was serious about you then he would do anything in the world to make you feel more at ease. Stay home!

I think you just answered your own question....your gut instinct is tell you NO!! But you are too curious to give up the opportunity. Just depends on what you are looking for...
