Do you have insurance? If you're on Gov't aid, contact your medical Dr. and see if he/she can't give you a referral to support your mental health. Also, oral malformations, in the long-run can create, with the passage of time, very serious health conditions. If you do not qualify for gov't aid, make an appointment for a consultation with a respectable dentist and explain your problem. May times, if you don't have insurance, or it won't cover it, you can work out a payment plan. You may have to provide some type of substantial down payment, but there ARE good and decent souls out there. Unfortunately, many people that CAN pay their bills blow the dentist off, and that's not cool. You might have to send in payments for a year in advance of your surgery, and work a trade of some type, but anything is do-able. You sound miserable, so find a way to make it happen, darlin'. Best Wishes.

some people are just ignorant, arrogant assholes... chances are they seem to have the false impression that they themselves are perfect, or nearly perfect, and can't see beyond a not so perfect smile... do your best to smile and be happy anyway, and look on the bright side.. at least you have teeth, and your jaw hasn't been eaten away by cancer. (I've seen that, it's a very sad thing. but the lady smiled regardless. and you know, it was a beautiful smile...) so smile and be happy, there are sooooo many things to find to smile about, especially if you have kids!!

why are people talking about you brushing your teeth? you said you needed braises but had to get surgery on your jaw first. i don't understand why people do thing like that. you cant help it if you need braises. i could care less if i met someone who had no teeth and what the reason was. i don't go by how someone looks, as long as they are good at heart they are good with me.

Man oh man....
Stop looking at fashion mags. Even here in So CA, not everyone has a perfect smile.
I have no idea what your teeth look like.
But dont compare yourself to the celebs, who have had thousands of dollars of veneers and whitening done on their teeth.

I have problems with my teeth too! it doesn't bother me that much, it bothers when my mum makes stupid statements about it... she's so worried that people will treat my different, and i won't be able to integrate in the society... yadda yadda.... i never cared about what others have to say about my face( although I hate it sometimes) . people are mean!!! that's why animals are better ;)

ya ho ja, it has nothing to do with brushing your teeth. Alot of time crooked teeth are genetic or for some reason have just grown in wrong. Just brushing your teeth cannot fix that.

I'm 34 and I am almost certain that things are not as bad as you say. Remember the good Lord made you one of his beautiful creatures. You need to be with someone who will cater to your issues with self-esteem. If you think you look good everyone else will also.

Someone obviously finds you very attractive you do have two kids you know. Stop worrying about what other people think, people who make these sorts of comments are not worth worrying about.
