the child may be telling you that someone else is showing their parts to her/him.......ask if anyone is showing private parts to him/her.

BE VERY CAREFUL when asking.....do not lead and if you are uncomfortable doing it take the child to see a professional.

Please don't stick your head in the sand and think "not my ______" They wouldn't touch my grandchild........protect yours!

Please watch for other signs of abuse....and if you don't know them......look them up. Family members are the number 1 abusers.

Two year olds are curious. This is when they are becoming aware of their body and the differences between bodies. Just say, "My body is private. I don't show my private body." Don't make a big deal about it. I'd be more concerned if the kid had asked when he was 10.

You let the grandma know your not comfortable with it, and tell you child that is not something we ask someone. A 2 yr old needs to be taught, they don't understand everything, so teach them this isn't something we ask someone or anyone for that matter. You know your child better tell them the way you think they will understand, and everytime they ask that question say them same thing, don't laugh or giggle, or they will think "oh they like this so I should do more of it!"

Explain to him/her that that is not polite, make sure he/she is really listening and ignore further requests by the little one. Even if the little one keeps asking ignore, ignore, ignore.

Let her see it. Chances are it will scar the poor kid to death.

LMAO... (punch line to one of my favorite jokes: ...but I think Grandma's is dead because it's tongue is sticking out.")

Tell your child sternly that it's inappropriate to ask that question. Hell, it's inappropriate for anybody...any age...to ask that question to a grandma. lol
