If they do not notify us officially it is a test, the secretary of state has told North Korea that it will be viewed as an act of aggression. Therefore our missle defense systems will shoot it down.

I think NK launching a test missile in the near future is about as realistic as Iraq launching a test missile before the US invasion.

Depends on where you from, if you are people from NK, then u should be happy, but if u are not, then u should be worry, and US seem no money to start a new war in a year or two, china and russia won't fight with NK, so if I m the president, I will leave the problem to the next president

I'd get a conference, and I'd say, "No B.S. - how good is our missile defense system - CAN WE SHOOT THIS THING DOWN or NOT?"
If they tell me they can, I'd shoot it down as soon as it came within 12 miles of our coast - leaving international waters.
I'd also have James Bond get in there and sabotage the crap out of it.
The Koreans are demonstrating that they ARE a nuclear power and are not to be messed with. We must demonstrate that we are still the best and show that they cannot harm us.

Monitor the situation and advise the North Korean, via the UN and directly that we will be monitoring the tests.

Ignore them like the petulant children they are. PRK will collapse without foreign aid. They only do things like this to extort other countries to give them aid in return for not doing threatening things. If we completely isolated them, the country would fall within a year.

Blow the thing out of the sky! I would NEVER let it get anwhere close to the USA. Then turn the tables........! Remember the Revolutionary War, we took something someone else started and made it BETTER. We have to take care of our own. Never let the rest of the world see us as a gullible nation....as they see us now.

they already have launched two test missles. if the un doesn't want to get any further than they had. send in teams of black ops to destroy the sites.
