Well, first I'd try to find out WHY my parents hate him. He might be a gangster, have 10 tatoos, be a drunkard...
And I'd try to let them get to know him better. My parents think everyone is not good enough for me. everyone's either:
Too young or too old
Too sweet or heartless
Too cheap or such a spendthrift
Not educated or too much of a smartass
So try finding out WHY your parents don't like him. If the answer is serious, like about drugs and stuff, LISTEN. If it 's cuz his dad is your dad's boss, listen, but take it lightly.

it's better you just let him go. i'm not just talking to talk. i have been in this situation and i didn't understand why my parents hated him so much. in the end he ended up really hurting me and the only ones there for me were my parents. if i wouldve listened to this about their 'bad vibe' none of this wouldn't have happened. believe it or not but parents know a good guy by the way you talk about them and if they think he's bad for you they know better and they only want the best for you.

I have been though the same kind of thing with my parents. Let me tell you most of the time your parents are right. I had a man that did so many wrong things and i kept forgiving him but I always had to call on my parents for help. Then they quit helping me and he left me with a baby and alot of debt. Now i'm living with my parents and we have a great realationship.

i have the same prob like yours when i was in college, i tried to understand my parents and try finding out why they hate him with all his trying hard to impress them. Oftentimes, parents are right to their judgment. I found out why and that really made me feel sorry. It was a beast of him being a two timer. Since then i became closer to my parents and talk to them at my utmost relationship to my opposite sex.
