No, it is not okay to beat him up. It is, however, perfectly acceptable to call the police, get him up on animal cruelty charges, and let the ASPCA beat him up.

No. But I have the best solution!
Call up the police and act as if you are your neighbor and your dog will be waiting tied to the front porch. You want them to come and take it away to the pound and take care of it because you just can't handle the dam dog any longer. And that you'll be gone because you can't bear the thought of seeing it be put to sleep or taken away.

No..dont beat your neighbour.
Just threathen him/ call Animal Cruelty centers or something.
A person who is abusive will stay that way no matter what you do. I am afraid next time when you arent around your dog will be victimised!
I will be grounded my dog around people who isnt friendly with my dog.
Dogs are dogs and humans are humans. However, sometimes human could be worst than animals!
Report him!

No - report him to the local SPCA or animal cop. Swear out a complaint. It is no more OK to have your neighbor kick your dog as it is to have him kick your kid.
Either way I would be slamming anyone who did that to my kid or pet.

Kick his butt then call the cops.
they will treat it as a misdemeanor and nothing much will happen.
Doing this will let him know you mean business. if it happens again then do it harder next time.
Why did he kick your dog?
On the same token do you let your dog howl/ or defecate in his yard without cleaning it up?
unless he is just a total jerk there must have been something that triggered this action

Of course. Anything less would bring shame upon both you and your dog. As a last resort, you can call in the Texas Rangers for backup.
