Many. But because there authors admit to be (horror) Christian, their works can not possibly be taken seriously or treated as reliable. You have to declare up front that it is all b/s and you can prove it before your work can possibly be objective and reliable. Otherwise it is going to be tainted by your (gasp) religious belief (the ultimate evil in the world today).
Hundreds of books have been, and continue to be published every year that show the reliability of the history of the Bible. Archaeologist have used it for centuries as a guidebook when looking for ancient ruins, etc. To date, it has always been right.
One of the earliest, and most honored archaeologist, Sir Ramsey Clark, was a non-believer, who took a copy of the Bible to the Holy Lands to prove it wrong. He not only failed to find anything that disproved the scripture, but he ended up being converted to the Christian faith by his own findings.
Dr F F Bruce, one of my favorite Bible commentators, set out in the 1950's to disprove the resurrection of Jesus Christ. His excellent book, "Who Moved the Stone" show how the historical evidence for the existence and resurrection of Jesus so overwhelmed him that he converted and became a Bible scholar.
General Lew Ayer, following the Civil War, set out to write a historical novel set in the time of Jesus that would once and for all disprove Christianity. But as he researched the historical evidence, he was unable to dispute the Bible, and the ended up writing "Ben Hur", one of the great Christian novels of all time.
I could go on and on and on... but I hopefully had made my point. In two thousand years no one has yet proven the Bible false, and it is not for a lack of trying. Hundreds have left records to it truth.

Norman Geisler, D.A. Carson, John Woodbridge all have books that deal with this topic in one way or another. The Bible must be taken in its correct historical, grammatical, cultural context. To say this its true simply because one says so is very circular. Likewise, to say it is not true simply because it advocates things that one does not agree with, eliminates the wealth of evidence that points to the contrary. Roman records, as well as the records of other cultures point to the integrity of the Bible. It will always be a matter of faith in interpreting the Bible. The question is what is your faith grounded in?

yes the bible is loaded with inaccuracy/misinterpretation. you have to remember that these were stories that were passed on......you ever have sat about 10 people in a circle and the first person says something to the next? by the time it gets to the end it is usually totally different than the initial statement. one thing i am sure of is that all the bible believers will tell you its god's word so it must be true. unfortnately, its a matter of interpretation which can really mess things up....eg. the Klan said that black people were supposed to be slaves etc because of verses in the bible. etc..............my view is just treat people like you want to be treated.....

Plenty. Several books have been written detailing the amazing prophecies that Christ Himself fulfilled (not easy ones either--the year of His birth for crying out loud!) And detailed studies into supposed contradictions.

I had a Bible that had an error in it. It was a typo. They left off the "y" in "years."
