take the pill to the pharmacy. They have a book called a PDR, it has pictures of every drug available in it, and you will now have definitive proof of what the drug is. Provided the pharmacist doesn't know.

I think this is a better source then getting information from people that my have no credentials and you don't know.

sir, by all means get this pill away from your child! This is methadone, a narcotic similar to herion, which is just as addictive. Methadone is usually used as an agent to prevent withdrawl symptoms when a herion addict is quitting... It is a 10MG pill. He probably doesn't know the danger of this pill, and you should surely fill him in...

your best bet is to take it to a local pharmacy and ask them, they will however probably keep the pill , or you can call the pharmacy and just ask you shouldn't have to give your name or anything. i have some hydrocodone left from a recent surgery i had and looked at that so i can say its not that.

It's Methadone (a prescription-only painkiller).

If your son is not prescribed this (presumably not), they are probably getting them from a friend. Essentially their friend is distributing drugs illegally.

No, it's not ecstasy or heroin, but it is used to try to help heroin addicts quit.

Obviously, unless your son is on this prescription painkiller, he shouldn't have them.
