I really like one of my friends, but I was too afraid to tell him, now he is going to a different high school than me, and I don't know if I will ever see him again. I don't know what to do.
He is only going to a school close to mine. He lives right on the boarder of another town.

This is a conundrum. The thing is IF you confess to your friend that you like them and they don't feel the same you run the risk of hurt feelings. IF you don't say anything well then YOU run the risk of never knowing.
It's the old addage of "The Sword having two sides each as sharp as the other, the double edged sword"
Ask yourself if YOUR feelings for your friend are really that of something romantic or maybe just something of admiration. Do you only now like him because he's going away or have you alway's liked him? These are things you'll need to ask yourself sooner then later and then decide from there.
I usually try the check list. You know pro's to telling your friend you like him and then on the other side con's to telling him.

Hey you can try calling him and maybe the two of you can start slow just by talking on the phone and later maybe even start dating. But then again this might depend on your age along with your friends age. Seeing that you are still in School you might want to just remain friends for now and not worry so much about dating your friend.

Find another guy. It would be hard to start a relationship if he is going to another school. If it makes you feel better, write him a letter to tell him how you feel.
