Of course, there is sibling rivalry. It's something natural. Everyone wants their chance to "shine". If you have another sibling, you are always competing to get attention. It's a way of life.
The only thing they don't tell you is that when you get older, you can be more closer and friendlier with your brother or sister. That's because you have similar problems and somehow as you get older a lot of the stuff that bothered you doesn't. It gets better.
I remember my son wishing he had an older brother. But then he and his sister were ok until the teen years. Then there was competition to see who will get something, or who could get the stuff that the other wanted.
It's not like having 4 - 5 kids or more. Then there is no fighting, because with all those kids you can't afford to give them everything you want. So there's an up/down side to having siblings,

It happens in every family.
Good parenting skills can help to minimise the effect but if mother has a favourite the scene is set for bitter, life long, murerous hatred.
Especially with brothers who are born with little interval between them.

attempt to ignore approximately your sisters' lives. via fact it may look like peaches and cream to you however the reality of the project is - I wager they're unhappy in techniques that consistent with threat you stumble on happiness on your existence. do no longer thrive to be like them. Make the adjustments on your existence to excel the variety you desire to. Get out of the "center-baby-Jan-Brady-syndrome" way of thinkin' and do somethin' which you quite desire to do with your existence.
