Every day drink one liter of water for every 40 pounds of body weight. Add two teaspoons of baking soda to each liter. Make sure you are taking the recommended amount of Omega oils. If you have recurring clogged pores take twice the recommend daily dose of "Borage Oil. Unless you have a big imbalance, you should be free of clogged pores in six months.

Follow a lot of good suggestions already given and stick with a glycerin base soap. Use a face cream each night containing
A, E, and D supplements.

You need to get the size of the bigger pores reduced. For nose and face use Biore deep cleansing strips. Swim a lot. Playing in the water does a lot of cleaning work you don't even have to think about.

You could see a dermatologist. You can also use facial cleansers to prevent pores from becoming further clogged. But you might want to look into other things to clear your pores as they are NOW. I recently tried a microdermabrasion kit I got off eBay, and I love it. It cost me under $5 for a sample (which lasts through at least 4 uses) and my skin looks and feels amazing again. I would recommend you try something like this to unclog your pores.

It can be used as an exfoliating treatment, too. Basically that's what it feels like--an exfoliant that you just rub on your face. But it helps slough off the dead skin cells that accumulate and clog pores. I loved it.

Get one of the exfoliating face masks that you leave on for a few minutes and then peel off. Also (this may sound weird) but buy Selsun Blue Medicated shampoo. Test it on your skin to make sure your not allergic then wash your face with it once a week. It works wonders.

See a dermatologist.

Acne can be due to hormones, bacteria, et cetera.

I say the cheapest, safest way is to use rubbing alcohol on your face as an astringent several times a day. I've heard bad things about sylic acid contained in otc acne products.
