1. We worship God, but the 3 (father, Spirit, Son) are one. When we pray, we pray in Jesus name, because the Bible says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father but through me. John 14:6
2.Jesus is the son of God.Read Luke 1:26-35. This explains His conception. "I and my Father are one." John 10:30.
"That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you may also have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ." 1John 1:3 (try reading the whole first and second chapter of 1st John.)
3. He suffered and died on the cross because: "for God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. Jesus went along with this in the physical, because he wanted to do His Fathers will. The God in Him knew he had to do this for our sake, but the human part of Him did struggle with it, as we see here when he was in Gathsemene, before Judas betrayed him. "Then he (Jesus) said to them, (the disciples) my soul is exceeding (very) sorrowful, even unto death: tarry (stay) here, and watch with me. And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "Oh my Father, if it be possible, let this cup (speaking of his impending torture and death) pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt. (not as I would do, but as you would have me do) He did it because he loved us, and out of obedience and love to His Father. Matthew 26:38-39.
If you can, get a Bible, and read the gospels, and if you can't get one and have more questions, let me know!! And there is nothing wrong with asking questions, especially about God. That's how our knowledge expands! God loves you!!

1. Jesus is the Son of God and is also God. Hang on, don't let me lose you yet.
2. God is not angry that his son was killed, as he sent him to die. Don't leave me yet.
3. Now to tie up the confusion: God is a three part being just as we are - he is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - all are one being and yet three functions - just as you maybe a daughter, mother, and are female, but still the same spiritual being. God the Father sent that part of him to be human and yet still God the Son to die on the cross as a sacrifice for mankinds sins. Sin which began with the successful temptation of Eve and Adam and has hence been carried forth through all generations. God established a covenant that required an animal sacrifice and man kept adding their own rites and rituals to it, until God knew he would have to send his own perfect sacrifice. Christ did not stay dead on the cross or in the grave. He arose victorious over death and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God. He will come again for those who believe in him as the only way to God, since he was the sacrifice made that God would accept.

I hope I have answered this in such a way that has been clear for you as it is sometimes hard for people to understand this particular concept of God, his love, his requirement of justice, and then he did not want to leave us without a guide and comforter, so the Holy Spirit dwells within us once we have accepted Jesus Christ as the redeeming sacrifice for our souls and Lord of our lives. This is also why we have the Bible passed down from God's inspiring man in their common language of how he had chosen his people, etc., and how he gave a new covenant in Christ Jesus to fulfill the old one.

1) Our God is a triune God existing as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is hard to grasp, like a 3-dimensional world would be to a 2-dimensional being. I know that answer begs more questions, but unless you are able to explore it within a Bible-based church family, it won't make sense.

2) As Christ's death on the cross was pre-ordained by God, and since Christ's death was not permanent (He rose on the third day and sits now by the side of the Father), it is unlikely God is angry at those who killed His Son. Putting human emotion onto God is never a wise thing to do, as His ways are so far above ours, we could likely not understand if He told us.

3) God allowed His Son to be killed on the cross in order to pay for the sin of humanity. All are welcome to come to God through Jesus, who was God made human, and who died on the cross for us. Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and was reborn. He defeated death.

1. Jesus is the Son of God and we do worship God as well as His Son. Some Christians believe that God the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost are one being. I am LDS(Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), more commonly referred to as Mormon, and we believe that they are separate beings, although unified in their purpose, which is to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man. Immortality means to live forever, and eternal life means to live forever in the presence of God the Father.

2. God was extremely sorrowful when Jesus was slain. That is why there were great earthquakes and darkness on the earth while Jesus was dead. But God also know it was necessary for Jesus to die so that he might establish his church in the spirit world of the dead as well as rise again to loose the bands of death. Jesus asked forgiveness for those who beat and crucified him "for they know not what they do." God does not punish those who sin in ignorance.

3. Jesus died and suffered on the cross so that all people might have immortality. He also suffered for every sin in the world in the garden of gethsemane. His suffering was so great that God the Father sent an angel to comfort and hold him. He suffered this so that we would have the opportunity to repent for our sins and also so that the burden of our sin would not be so heavy as to prevent us from progressing. Jesus suffered for us so that if we would repent, we might have a remittance and forgiveness of our sins, and thereby gain eternal life. And if we do all that we can do, Christ will make up the rest.

We worship one God, the Holy Trinity. We do not just worship Jesus, that is a common misconception among muslims.
God sent Jesus as a gift, by his grace we are saved. God knew we would be sacrificed and is not angry
Jesus was God and Man on Earth. He became human so he could die for our sins

Jesus was crucified because the Romans thought he was being blasphemous for claiming to be God

1. Jesus is God. When God took on a human form (Jesus) the term that is used is "Son of God" We do worship God Himself.

2. Yes, He is horrified that His Son (God in human form) had to die - but it was for a VERY specific reason.

3. He died as the substitution for your sins. He took on himself the sins of the world and "nailed them to a tree" so that your sins could be forgiven.

Hope this answers your questions. If not, feel free to email me and ask me to explain better.

All people have sinned. God wants a relationship with us, but he hates sin. Very simply, God came up with a solution. He sent his son Jesus, who is God in human form, to Earth. God is three persons of one essence: the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Therefore, God is three, and one (I know that may be confusing). While Jesus lived, he taught people the way to live, and lived a sinless life. He then voluntarily died on the cross, taking the punishment for our sins on himself. He then rose from the dead, so that all who believe in him will eventually have eternal life with him.
I am praying that God speaks to your heart, and reveals the truth of His Son to you.

I have the same questions as you. Unfortunately, when reading other people's answers I can see how some Christians give others a bad name. I respect your inquiry, and hope someone gives you an answer worth reading. Understand that the people who are making fun of you, or are avoiding the answer, are doing so because they don't have the answer either. Most likely, they find themselves believing in something they cannot explain.

Even though Jesus is God's son, they are one in the same. Jesus came down as God in human form so we could understand him better. He died so we could have life - it was his decision to die because he loves us. Read John 3:16...
