I haven't smoked in it and neither has anyone else. Are there any known car cleaners that have this herbally smell?
P.S. I don't think I hit a skunk.

Ok here's one thing I can tell you; I was taking my cat to the vet in a cardboard carrier and she got so scared she pissed. I could never get the smell out. Cat piss smells...kind of piney...like a forest. So maybe that's what it is. I mean I scrubbed the seats and had it professionally cleaned but it still wont come out. It only smells this way when it gets hot. So my thought is if you have a used car, someone before you might have had a cat.
Also, get the trash out of your car...that might be rotting and stinking up the place.
Yeah some car cleaners smell funky. I had one that shaped like a beatle and you put it on the AC vent....it had an obnoxious smell.
Plus there's the possibility of transfer from your clothes. If you smoked outside the car and got in it, the smell could get in your interior. Just take it and have it cleaned.

But if you smoke it and then get into your car then the smell will run off on your seats. Don't forget that your interior is made of fabric and fabrics absorb the smells of their surroundings. So if you smoke at all you're car could smell like it from varies things you bring into it.
Febreeze is good but sometimes it could make smells worse. Another way to get it out would be to clean your car. If you don't smoke then it might be mildew and you might need to get new carpet.

try sprinkeling some baking soda in there, leave it for a few hours then vacum it up. If that doesnt work ferbreeze the car. Try to auto ferbreeze it works really well. And if al else fails just get rid of it. I am sure some hippie would love it!

Try going to the car wash and using that carpet deoderizer they have there
If not use Febreze and air it out for a few days

Well, I used to have a car which i bought used, and found a pipe, and some bud underneath the center console. Maybe someone before you stashed it, and you are the lucky guy who'll find it... :)

Who owned the car before you? or
It MAY be a musty smell you are smelling. or
Maybe something is in the vents from a "smell-good" hanger.
