Kim: This is a very vague question- you have to look at the circumstances. Just because the kid is the son/daughter of religous parents doesn't mean that their parents are going to try to force their beliefs on them. Some parents like to let their children choose their religion- if you're going based off of stereotypes, then the more "extreme" religions, (Muslim, Buddist) would be more likely to insure their family's salvation.
Kara: I agree with Kim...definately Muslim, Buddist, or Hindu though.

Your problem is in your additional details you rveal your bias. Beyond that, you don't include another group: Christians who have mostly atheist parents. Why did you not include those? For the simple fact that you don't care to know the answer. Beyond that, your bias extends in the fact that you sem to think only religious parents brainwash, or at least that all religious parents attempt brainwashing, when you do not acknowledge that atheistic parents could do the same thing. Finally, you ask for people's opinion and then demand that they be "honest." How would you know what their true opinion is? If you did know, then why did you ask the question?

Do you really think that Atheist parents can't/don't "brainwash" their children into being Atheists? I mean, if you think the rest of those parents can do it, why do you think Atheist parents are not capable of the same? Children believe what their parents tell them to be true more than any other group of people who instruct them. Why wouldn't a hard-fast Atheist tell their children that that is the truth and why wouldn't the children believe it as the unmitigated truth? You don't honestly think that children who are atheists are thinking for themselves, do you?

As A Muslim I will use what Muhammed said" Each new born has set on Good defaults, yet his parnets embose what they believe on the child"
So your concern is accepted, yet when you become mature, you should question your beliefs and judge for yourself.
In Quran, God sates Abraham(Ibrahim) search for God as it did not seems to him logical that his community and parnets worship stones.
He believed that far planet as God then it eclipsed, then Moon itself eclipsed and then Sun and he thought the God is bigger than Sun
When he reached God (God Guided that to Him) he used the logic again to prove to his community that what they are believing is not true.
This story can answer your question clearly as it shows you the time one can get, and the effort is needed to reach the truth as well as your own responsibility when you reach maturity.
So start the search

C. Muslims who have mostly Muslim parents
BECAUSE ISLAM IS TRUTH AND HAVE PROOFS AND QURAN ENCOURAGES REASONING. Therefore, person cannot believe blindly in islam and Quran. and Islam have answers of all questions.
When they are told to follow the (Revelation) that has sent down, they say:
nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). What if
it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire?

A lot depends on the personal structure of the person in question.
Someone appears to have an axe to grind against religion.
And it's spelled "Buddhist", OK?

Everyone has his own agenda; what you can hope for is that your parents' target is to prepare you to make your own informed decisions.
Any one of your groups may include parents with this goal.
By the way, because I'm Jewish, I didn't even make your list, did I? Tsk, tsk.
