According to many beliefs, suicide is a ticket to hell.

Not necessarily. The Catholic church taught this for many years and may still, I do not know. True followers of Christ believe that once they have given their souls to Jesus, even though they in their flesh may step out of the relationship with Christ, Christ will never step out of the relationship with them, therefore to choose to commit suicide is a mental illness that would not normally had been made because of the sanctity of human life. A non-believer will enter immediately into hell, as he has not given his soul to Christ, and the fact they have rejected the opportunity at some point in their life has already condemned them to an eternity separated from God in hell. I hope this clears up misconceptions for you and if you are one of the many who think this is a good option in life, please reach out to professional help. It's not an option, it's a permanent solution and there is nothing so without hope in this world that a solution cannot be found if you just keep seeking.

No, this is not true. There is no such physical place as hell that God condemns us to. God does not judge or condemn. Those are human qualities.

When you commit suicide you get sent back to restart your life over again. It's that simple. There's no free pass to the spiritual dimension. We all choose, at a soul level, prior to this physical incarnation, to come here and experience this particular life. Once you're here, you've got to live it out to the end. You can decide to be happy about it and make the best of life, with love and joy, no matter what your circumstances, or you can decide to live in fear. Choose love, choose joy. No one else can make that decision for you, or control your reactions to the things that life throws at you. Do you really want to go back and start all over again?

Yes that is true according to Islam, and they will keep killing themselves the same way they did for ever. Suicide is very grave sin in Islam. Now suicide bombers are not really suicidal because they don't escape from life problems but they try to revenge by the only mean they own and their fate is only known by God who knows best what the intensions of people are.

In the afterlife is a place (like a hospital) for curing the mental, spiritual pain of an earth life. When we have commited suicide it is from a confused and painful mind. As it heals there is room for growth and progress into the light of knowledge...when the individual is ready for change.

No, the only people who are going to hell are those who have a perfect knowledge of the truth, those who know so much that they don't need faith anymore, and yet they deny God. People who commit suicide are generally in too much pain to be anywhere near that level of existence.

I am LDS. When I was in high school, a boy my age committed suicide. We all had questions and in our seminary class we talked about it. Our teacher said that we don't know what will happen to them, we do not know what their state of mind was or what they will be held accountable for. My husband has had 2 cousins that killed themselves. One was mentally unstable, he said he was always seeing monsters and scary things, the other left a note for his wife that said he did something unforgivable and that's why he did it.
So we really don't know, God is the only one who can judge what happened.

We would never know for sure, unless we were in hell with them. Many religious people believe that comitting suicide will automatically send you to hell. But as a Christian, I have to disagree. Jesus came and died for all of our sins and imperfections. Why not this one as well?

If your last action in life is murder (even to yourself), you can't expect to see paradise. Suicide is a selfish and depraved action and should be avoided at all costs.
