It is a definite possibility. Though I believe that he is missing the point of dating. The purpose of dating to be in one another's company while getting to know them, enjoying each other, and judging compatibility. He SHOULD be calling just to say hi, see how your doing and that sort of thing. However, as you say if he is shy this may be a problem for him, so instead, give him a call to say hi, or whats up. Give it a chance and don't lose hope.

Nope! Guys don't sit around thinking about a girl nearly as often as the female. She obsesses and plans and builds a relationship in her head. When she is out shopping or at work she thinks of him. He actually can spend the afternoon with guy pals and never think about her. Go figure...it is just the way it works.

Chances is if the guy knows ur phone number, and if he really knows you.
If he does and he wants to go out with you chances can be that he just wants to tease you or something.

im shy myself and i would get so nervous about calling a girl cause i wouldnt know what to say, so it really helps if the girl can start the conversation

yes thats very possible...you should just give him time to get comfortable with you and he wont be so shy and hopefully he will call you just for the heck of it....like just to talk or see how your day is going...stuff like that
