I do have eggs, butter, and shortening though. I have everything except milk! And I'm HUNGRY!!! I need a pancake recipie that doesn't call for milk.

Sorry, but that's an essential ingredient in making pancakes. Using water will not work at all - the flavor and consistency will come out all wrong! You'll just have to go to IHOP

I don't know how they would taste made with water, but probably wouldn't brown as well. Do you have any powdered milk, canned evaporated milk, yogurt, coffee creamer, or sour cream? I have used yogurt thinned with water or milk before and got good results. The coffee creamer may not be the most heathy substitute, but if you're hungry and that's all you have, it won't hurt once. If you try the sour cream, I would thin it too. Hope this helps.

Use butter milk or make some with yougurt. Just add a glass of water to the yougurt and you have your buttermilk. You can mix it in the blender or with a whisk.

I never use milk. I use water in pancake mix.

If you have powdered coffee creamer, add some to your dry ingredients and you'll never know the difference. If not, you can make them with water.

Do you have canned milk? Try cutting that half and half with water.

I had the same problem with French Toast once, I used melted ice cream instead.

Use water BUT if you come over to MY place I have PLENTY of MILK...YOURS for the asking
