It scares me that the myth that the jews somehow killed jesus is so prevalent among christians. Does it not occur that the ROMAN CHURCH that formed modern christianity would downplay the blatant fact that jesus was executed by ..um..ROMANS? Talk about irony! Imagine the KKK being curators of the Musuem of African-American Musuem. Would seem kinda fishy, no? Even the ROMAN approved version of the bible makes it pretty clear the Romans killed Jesus. It's not even logical that the jews would kill Jesus or would even want him dead. What we know as Israel was a military occupied territory. With the exception of a handful of selfish stooges (common in any country that is occupied by another), the jews hated their Roman invaders. The fact that the Romans convinced so many that the jews could somehow hate a man who at the time was seen as no more than a cult figure more than the people who were nailing their people up on stakes and taxing the hell out of them, is some serious PT Bharnum, "There's a sucker born every minute" type $hit. Greatest anti-semitic propoganda move ever pulled.

SOME Jews who liked the status quo of the time, especially those in charge who, like most people with status, money, and power did not want that to change. The Roman authorities in Jerusalem cooperated with it. Not all Jews killed Jesus and to think so is to perpetuate bigotry, hatred, and evil. That website, however, does NOT tell the truth about Jesus, sorry.

Our Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead, ascended back to heaven, and will one day return to this earth again.
Our sins killed Jesus, because that is why he came to die for.
It was according to the Father's purpose.
1. Note the sermon of Peter on Pentecost. Acts 2:22-23; 4:27-
A. Jesus was delivered by the determined purpose and
foreknowledge of God.
b. The Jews and Romans were instruments in carrying out
God's will, though they did not know it.
B. Thus, in a sense God the Father was responsible for Jesus' death.
Jesus had the power to deliver Himself, yet it was His own will
that He die for the sins of the world. John 10:11-18
1. Jesus came into the world to minister and to give His life
for ransom. Matt. 20:28
2. He became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.
Phil. 2:8
YOU AND I ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR JESUS' DEATH.
A. He was bruised because of our iniquities. Isa.
53:5,8b,10a,11b,12b
1. He bore our sins in his own body on the tree. 1 Pet. 2:24
2. As animals were sacrificed under the Law, He sacrificed
Himself to atone for our sins. Heb. 9:25-28
3. Thus, any person who has ever sinned is responsible for the
death of Christ.
a. We must make personal application here.
b. We must accept our own blame in this matter.
c. It was because of our sins that Jesus died on the cross.
d. Because of our sins, we are worthy of death, but Jesus
died in our place.
4. If we do not accept personal responsibility, the death of
Christ brings no benefit to us.
B. Forgiveness to all sinners is now possible through the death of
Christ. Heb. 10:10-14
1. Because of Jesus' death, we die to sin. Rom. 6:4-12
C. Those who do not willingly obey the Lord, are considering the
death of Christ as an unholy or common thing. Heb. 10:26-29
1. They do not appreciate what was done for them.
D. Those who become unfaithful crucify Jesus all over again. Heb. 6:4-6
Sad I have hear many people said, "But I did ask him to do it"
If Jesus did not die for us, what could had happend to us today?
That is the question that we should ask insted.

The Chief Priest, The Pharisees, The Sadducees and such that were supposed to be awaiting the arrival of the Messiah were the ones that offered him up to be killed. These people were the church leaders but they got caught up in their own wealth and authority and could not even recognize our great saviour. be CAREFUL TODAY!!, with all these mega churches and men establishing themselves just like the pharisses of old. We are killing Jesus today all over again because he is not being taught in the church nor are we living the true christian lives we should.

God killed the body of Jesus. If you believe he is the son of God, then only his human body died, the spirit never did. His body dies as part of a plan by God and anyone else catching the plan was only acting according to God's will.
Thus his body was sacrificed to teach a lesson, and Jesus himself never died.
Oh..and just so you know EVERY CULT SAYS THEY ALONE HAVE THE TRUTH. In fact stating "we have the one and only truth" is one of the big signs of a cult and a sign that they are anything but the truth.
If you step away from the Kool-aid long enough, you'll begin to see they are dangerous, want your mind and soul and are anything but the truth.
Find your faith elsewhere.

The Jews asked for his death, the Romans gave them what they wanted - the truth of the matter is that he gave himself up to die for the sins of mankind, rose from the grave as a living sacrifice, ascended into heaven, will come again for his redeemed, and is the only means by which mankind can go to heaven, was the only fulfillment of the Old Testament/Judaic Laws and Prophecies and will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. He isn't dead.

It's true that the Roman soliders put Him on the cross, but I believe that man's sin and unbelief is what killed Jesus. Every man is responsible for His death. If man had never sinned, (starting with Adam in the Garden), then He would never had to die.

Mankind did. He suffered and died for everyone. He submitted to the law of Moses even when he was without sin.
The removal of five books of protestant Bible only drives Jews and Christians further apart. Christians, Jews and Muslims worship the same God. These books esp. Maccabees contain references to purgatory. This is why Protestants say the Bible does not refer to purgatory. Martin Luther edited the Bible because of the tremendous burden of sin.
When Jesus washed the feet of the disciples it was show us that we are to give ourselves freely to God, and humble ourselves before him.
We are the children of God. We are the servants of God and our brothers.
