Well actually there is no such thing as half a whole (hole). So how long would someone take to dig a whole, is impossible. If however you are speaking about a hole in the ground, a literal hole, then more than likely, if it took 3 hrs to dig a hole, it is possible to dig half the length and width of the first hole in one and a half hrs....

You can't dig half a hole. It would just be a hole. Now if you dug a hole half the size, it should take 1 1/2 hours.

It depends. If half of the whole is deeper than the whole hole, it will take longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes. If it is the same depth, it will take 1 hour and 30 minutes. If it is shallower, then it will take less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Also, half a hole is also called a semi-circle, but if you have a lready dug into the ground I believe it is already called a hole. Whole or not.

Depends what is your idea of half a hole. The half a hole you are talking about could be bigger than the original hole. Or smaller. However if the half hole where HALF of the first hole then it would take you one hour and thirty minutes.

it will still take three hours because a hole can be any shape and any size.you didnt specifically said the second hole was half the size of the first hole.you just said it was half a hole.basically, a hole is a hole,no difference.

That would depend on whether it is the same size and depth as the first hole....
Half an whole is 0.5.......so maybe half a hole would be 30 mins hehe
