1- Jesus is God because he is the Son of God. How? I cannot explain the mechanics of it because he is infinate and we are finite and can never comprehend him with our own mind...but the easiets way to think about it is imagine (for example sake) a fire. I fire radiates heat and light from a flame source. But we cannot say that the flame is different to the heat and different again to the light. All three are 1 fire. The same with God, He is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, all in One God. With NO difference nor separation.
2- Jesus Christ is our saviour because he paid the price of sin for us. When someone sins, they have to die (eternally and spiritually). And given sin is ultimately committed against the eternal God, thus the price of death is also eternal and no one has such eternal capacity except God himself. So the option was to either all men to perish or the eternal God pays the price Himself. So God (Father) sent His Son (same God, Jesus) to pay this price. That is why he is our saviour. And Jesus resurrected from the dead by His own power because He is God and he is the source of life.
3- As for your confusion about "free countries with sin", well, God also gave each and everyone of us the freedom to either love him and follow him without sin, or chose to turn our backs on him and commit all sorts of ugly sin. That is the beauty of a free society, that you do not have to be "forced" to love God, and when you do and abstain from sin, you do it purely with love and freedom of will.
4- Finally, just as much as Jesus paid the price for us, Yes, but the transaction is not complete until we accept it. Metaphorically speaking, Jesus 'bought' salvation for us and paid for it and put it in a lovely gift-wrap...how am I suppose to enjoy it unless I accept it from Him??? If I go on sinning and clubbing and committing adultry and start wars ...etc etc etc, I will not be saved because I have not acceted his salvation and turned my back on Him and thus the transaction is not quite fulfilled and I will pay the price of rejecting that gift by being eternally separated from Christ in hell. Only those that accept his life-giving gift are saved.

To be honest, I am not even sure that there is a "God." I do believe that there is some sort of energy...I can't explain it. I just don't understand how if there is a "God," why some things happen the way that they happen. For instance, terrorists killing thousands to get to paradise to sleep with virgins? I sort of think faith is something people depend on to keep them from going crazy. I just try to live the best life that I can, and hope that when my time is up, I will be okay.

I agree that there is alot of sin in our time, but as for me...yeah I am a sinner, but I fear Hell still. I know that Jesus is my savior, but I had beter ask forgiveness or I know where I am going. I do not belive that there is a person on the face of this earth (besides Jesus when he was a man) that has not sinned...but I know that Jesus forgives. Yes Jesus paid for our sins but we must be born again to accept this gift.
