Ithink you both should see other people. Your experience will help you grow in college and she will still be in the high school mode. Have many different experiences while you are young because to tie yourself down so young will hurt both of you.College is a wonderful time to meet new people and the only time in your life the focus will be only on you. Enjoy the ride!!

Hopefully she will remember how busy you will be and that neither one of you can be distracted from school work. Your first year in college is very important as well as her last year in high school. What are you going to do if she gets accepted to a different college. That glitch in your plans could occur also

my advice be friends with her take her to nice places but anything more than hand holding i'd advise against it unless you are both over the legal age of consent in your area as you may end up in a young offenders institution regardless of you both consenting if her parents were ever to find out and have you charged.
thats if my brain is remembering correctly. I freely admit that i may be wrong here before i get email stating i'm wrong.

you get the better end of that deal. all new friends... no one reporting back to her about what your up to. but you have plenty of spy's back in town ready to fill you in if she steps out of line. Suggest you both agree to see other people this first year. that way if its real, all the better when she joins you next year. and if either are spotted flirting, no biggy 'cause you agreed to see others. no reason to fight, etc. bet you'll both have a little crush or two, then next year everything will be great again. hell, next year will be even better.

It's workable, just more difficult than if you were both in college/high school.
