IMO Canada is upset because they had realized that they are irrelevant. And that for some reason the USA keeps making their own decisions about what we should do and ignoring Canada's attempts to tell us what to do.
Who cares what they think?

you are close to the next evolutionary jump in thinking but your family tree has prevented you from accepting the truth yet and you are unable to crasp the concept of a world without war yet --
so in a few more generations your family may be able to give up the idea that serving killers and murderers is wrong .
for now you are stuck at the level of intelligence and understanding your limited mental capacity will allow and for you fighting makes sense and doing nothing is just as bad. you are in need of guidence and have turned to war for the answer and missed the boat so sad for your family that you have not picke peace and non violence .IN there future much pain and agony await the future generations you shall bring forth.
Along with the pain and misery they will spread.war is a cancer and must be eliminated and all who can not se this are in the dark .

Yo John_D, you did time in the Army and want to know about doing pull-ups is it. You were in the infantry and are now going to be a pilot in the Canadian Air Force.
I have never noticed any anger toward Americans when I have been in Canada and actually find I enjoy going there.
So do you want to tell us the truth now?

A lot of Americans feel they were hoodwinked....bamboozled.
There was quite a bit of fear Post 911.
The government tapped into that........
And we know what happens to people when that happens.
They turn into bullies
If not foursquare behind Invasion of Iraq....considered a traitor.
What the hell was that about?
American Legion Declared War in Anti-War protestors!!!
I'M thinking...
"a bunch of fat drunk middle aged white guys with baseball bats gonna attack demonstrators?"
Didn't think that was going to happen.
But it was the motive behind the declaration.
Cindy Sheehan?
Boy did they over go on about her!!
You can look at the woman and tell she has got some significant mental/emotional problems.
She was being exploited by the ACLU.
The same way they exploited Billy Boggs.
Jesse Jerkson....
Any excuse to GRANDSTAND.
She was being exploited by him.
She was being exploited by the media.
And people are freaking out!
Like she was TOKYO ROSE.
Piddly little demonstrations.
Mostly old anti-nam movement vets.
In their late fifties, early sixties:):):)
Senators, Congressman, and officials who voted for or expressed approval for Invasion of Iraq and now have second thoughts are being portrayed as wishy-washy.
I think they can change their opinions when given facts rather than fabrications.
But how they voted two or three years ago is being used to discredit them.
sounds like bullying to me.
Or the riddle.......
How can you say you are against the war in Iraq but support the troops?
Ican.....give the troops whatever equipment/supplies they need to get out of there alive.
Get the Iraqi Security Forces going.
Whats taking so long?
If a lot of the Iraqi Security Forces are ex Iraqi Army.....
They already have military experience.
and blah blah blah blah blah
we opened up a can of worms with this invasion and we know it.
I will get links to BILLY BOGGS and TOKYO ROSE
here they is
Billy Boggs
The first person hospitalized under an effort to remove mentally ill homeless people from Manhattan's streets was identified by her relatives in a court hearing yesterday as a 40-year-old former secretary from a middle-class family in Livingston, N.J

Did the radio talk shows have fun with this one!
Tokyo Rose
Tokyo Rose was a name given by United States forces in the South Pacific during World War II to any of several English-speaking female broadcasters of Japanese propaganda.

People were going on about SHEEHAN demoralizing the troops when anybody with half a brain could tell she was disturbed.
and re negative sentiment in Canada....
Can't be easy living in looming shadow of 300 million crazy people.

We really do love our American neighbours but when it comes to war issues the government needs alot of work! Alot of Canadians feel that the US puts their nose in alot of disputes between other countries where they shouldnt choose sides. Also the fact that the States is too quick to jump into war; for example Iraq with the nuclear weapons! When none were ever found. The citizens themselves are gracious; hospitable and friendly. It is just time for you to get a much better President and perhaps time for one without a C average in education! LOL

War can be Hell but the way I see it if it weren't for War we would be in bigger trouble than we are now.
I descend from Warriors myself and I would love to join the service myself but im Medically Disqualified from joining unfortunately.
It would be nice if things could be resolved Peacefully but I wish the Anti-War people would wake up and realize there are those who would rather annihilate us before ever singing a Peace Treaty

Easy question, simple answer.
Canada has been laboring under the delusions of a liberal press for a long time. Now that Fox News is broadcasting up there, their opinions are changing.
At least Canada doesn't have to be ashamed like the U.S. is of the NY Times, and their treasonous reporting, which borders on espionage.

I believe that the people in the U.S. that want to take over Iraq are defeatists. They have given up on the real enemy (Bin Laden) and are trying to save face.
Poor little defeated red state a holes.....

Hey people, stop saying the rest of the world is jealous of US. That's a stupid and ridiculous claim....Its much deeper than that..
Because USA is seen as the war machine and it is.
Did you know that over half our money goes to making war machines for "defense" purposes?
Ever wonder why? Its not only Canada who has that sentiment, but most of the world!

I think for Canada..the people don't like what the U.S. is doing and they don't want Canada to be associated with the U.S. or have the country run like the U.S. It's very political. Lay low and everything will remain peaceful I think. The U.S. tends to stick it's nose into places it doesn't belong. I think Canadian's want to keep their image of being a peaceful country. That's my two-bits...

I happen to love Canada. I would love to live in British Columbia. Anyways, it's not really anger from Canada alone. The whole rest of the world is sick of the US, and I don't blame them. We have an absolute idiot in charge... let's not get into that.
