I wouldn't do that.
The leash will get all yucky and gross.

Follow your dog around and find out where she regularly poops, then lay the leash down on that spot. Everytime the poop lands on the leash when she goes there, give her a doggy treat.

most leashs are very thin so its hard to hit you will have to aim for her. sorry had to do it. Really she will get the idea when she needs to. My suggestion is to take her out much more often so there is no doubt in her mind that the leash is here to stay, and she will when she is ready do her duty. if you do not take her out often and she was holding out she may do it off the leash in the house. so take her out often. My question is do you not have leash laws just letting her out run into the road, chase deer, and getting into things that may kill her. save YOU time and trouble but now you are going to have to bite the bullet and take care to spend some time to protect her.

Just leave her out on the leash. When she has to poop bad enough she'll go. Whether on a leash or not.

You have nothing to teach, that is why there are no leash potty training courses.
Let her out and keep an eye on her while you stay in the house, you will get the job done and all is well.
Now, as to why you want poop on your leash?? I dunno. But, to each his own.

Hah, that can be taken two ways. When I first read it, I thought you were asking how to get your dog to poop on top of the leash. =/
Anyways... with our dogs, we just walk them on the leash, and when they have to go, they just go. It's as simple as that.

Some dogs are know not to "go" with thier master watching, especially dogs tht are harshly scolded for "goin" inside the house. Best to leave her tied outside for a few minutes.

When she is about to go just simply place the leash under her butt. Good Luck :)

Take her out on the leash, and let her sniff. It should come easy.

Take her out side then when she's gata go she will go, it may take awhile but after the 3-6(rd/th) time she will get the hang of it. Be pacient and it will work! Hope This Helps! ~*~Annie~*~
