Go with the cash to a gasstation that sells them or western union and get a money order. Then send it in. It basically is a check for people without a checking account.

Money orders provide an easy, reliable way to pay bills and make purchases, and can be a great tool for managing your budget. When you need a money order, simply visit a participating Western Union® Agent location near you, purchase a money order for the principal amount you need, then send it just as you would a check. Receivers can easily deposit the money order directly into their bank account.

For your convenience, money orders are available at more than 48,000 Western Union® Agent locations in the U.S. Look for the major supermarkets, convenience stores and check-cashers displaying the yellow and black Western Union® Money OrderSM sign.

Go to your bank, the post office, or Western Union. Tell them that you need a money order and how much the money order should be. You typically have to fill out a small form and there is usually a fee involved. The larger the money order, the more you will have to pay. You give them money and they give you the money order.

The Post Office issues Money Orders in any amount you need. There is a small charge depending on the money order amount. You complete the payee line and mail to the party in question.

Go to wal-mart or the post office, say "I need a money order," then fill out the information. It's really easy.

One more note. Don't by PC games on eBay unless you're 100% certain of what you are getting. It is VERY easy for someone to make copies of games and sell them on eBay.
