What is the proof that Jesus appointed him?

The Group Entity of millions of angels that worked through and around Jesus/Issa, granting him various Gifts of the Spirit, wanted to elevate Jesus/Issa from a prophet to a god so that they would be worshipped and a new church would form. They chose someone who had the education, organizational ability, and spiritual drive to do this -- Paul of Tarsus.

A modern Christian would say that Paul spoke for God and God gave him his authority. But that thought is based on Paul's writings and the writings of those that followed Paul. I say a "modern" Christian would say that because I believe that Paul was a cultist within the original movement and that his teachings were adopted by the church fathers and politicians of the third century because his way of doing things gave them control. Which, when Constantine made Christianism the Roman State religion, is exactly what they needed. If you separate Paul's writings from whats left and include certain other documents that actually pre-date Paul's writings, principally the Gospel of Thomas, I think you get a clearer view of what TRUE and ORIGINAL Christianity was all about, what Jesus was honestly all about and what it was that he REALLY did. And given THAT view, well, Jesus comes off looking a lot like a Jewish version of Buddha. Which thing, in my opinion, is much closer to the facts than the fallacy of today's Churchanity. But that's just MY opinion, and not meant to tread on any ones toes. If the other guy wants to accept Paul for what he said he was and that helps that person lead a good life ... Cool, I'm all for it. But for ME, I'd just as soon leave Paul to the other cultists and control freaks because that's where I think his head was at and I don't wanna go there personally. ~ Peace & Blessings ~

Jesus appointed Paul as the head of the church as ordered by God in the new testament.

Aaron, Moses' brother was the head of the pre-Christ church.

Unfortunately, the further you get away from the original source, the more interpretations you get as to the "origins" intentions. And voila, diversity of religion.

It is also amazing how each and every religion can back up their own premises with the same book!

Me, I stick to the Golden Rule. It is real simple. You do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That pretty well takes into account all the rules and commandments. I belong to no "religion". I can securely stand before my God today, if need be, and hold my head up in his presence, because I know that I have strived all my life to be a good person.

According to Paul, Jesus did. According to the other apostles, Jesus told them the same thing. Who's right, who knows?

UMMM how about that guy, whats his name.. O yes I remember Jesus Christ the Saviour. I think it was him...
to bind all that call on thy name.
Act 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Act 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Act 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Act 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

No-one, in my view. If you actually look and study what he said, it's plain he was completely raving. He constantly back-tracks, contradicts others who were saner(relatively) than him and kept making blatant, unproven and clearly wrong assumptions.
Jesus certainly didn't appoint him! lol
