Maybe. We'll have evolved to the level of "Q" on Star Trek by then and it won't be a biggie if the sun explodes in the least.

human beings stressful about what is going to ensue in 5 billion years.... i'd lay money we are extinct lengthy lengthy earlier that. we've better opportunities in self destruction or a wayward chew of area garbage knocking us into oblivion earlier the solar bloats and consumes the inner image voltaic equipment. truly i imagine in 3 or 3.5 billion years we can commence the lengthy technique of having cooked besides. that's fairly ironic that the expression of flying into the solar or falling into the solar is so time-honored because the solar will come for us, we do no longer could fall everywhere. yet say merely by utilizing twist of destiny the human beings are round and they have area commute... i'd anticipate that they had outfitted an section station able to keeping existence and getting out of the picture voltaic equipment because the total equipment will be affected and under no circumstances an section to be putting round. the position they are gonna flow as a "homestead" is the question after that. or merely waft round and die out lacking resources and resources eventually.

2 Peter 3:3 First, knowing this, that there will come in the last days scoffers walking according to their own lusts 4 and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. 5 For this is hidden from them by their willing it, that the heavens were of old, and the earth out of the water, and through water, being held together by the Word of God, 6 through which the world that then was, being flooded by water, perished. 7 But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, let not this one thing be hidden from you, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.

The sun is going to last a little more then 5 billion years, and by that time, humanity will have either died out (sorry dumb people, no messiah, ever), or have evolved, so humans won't be around at that time.

Why should I go out and watch some stupid star explode when I can stay all night in the holodeck playing my favorite videogame? It's just a myth that humans came from Sol anyhow. They could have evolved on any of a number of G-class stars.

Living human kind may not even last that long when everyone is at loss and running on batteries with shorten life-cycles on planet earth.
Better find your way home to our creator and start recharging the battery instead of worrying about 5 billion years over the horizon on planet earth.

mt 24:1-14 - Study This Chapter

1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 "Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
