I know the ACLU is anti prayer in school, anti Christian groups in school, anti almost everything Christian. I'm very aware of this. I think Jay Sekulow is involved in ACLJ. I used to watch him on TBN. I admire him.

Even tho the ACLU fights for the rights of some of the lowest scum on earth, the rights they are fighting for are rights that we all are in danger of losing and they only fight to maintain the integrity of the Constitution, not change it to suit their ideology, which is the case with the ACLJ.

If you support the ACLJ then you support Theocracy and Authoritarianism. Both are much, much worse than Communism in most peoples opinions. The ACLJ seeks to remove the rights of all people that are not rich white christians and put this country under the rule of the church.

THe ACLU helps keep this country free for peoples of all races and religions. They help fight cases where people are infringing on others' rights. Not the other way around. Many christians see themselves as being persecuted because the ACLU demands they take images of their faith out of public govenment places. Its not a crusade of christianity but an evening of the tables so that people of all religion can feel free to use those places as need be. The 10 commandments is a very biased document that certainly goes against my faith.

Its only those so selfish and blind to think that their religion is for everyone that think that the ACLU isn't on a mission for the people.

The ACLU has done more good than harm. It's stands on freedom of speech, detention with out trail and the exposure of brutality in prisons have protected the average American.

Only if the ACLJ brings back burning at the stake, will I consider joining it. I'll bring the marshmallows to the next witch hunt. Do they also issue free McCarthy T-shirts.

Actually your question is way too narrow...it is not just Christians that are affected by this group but everyone. How wimpy we have become during this Politically Correct era. Like most groups they set out with a good purpose, but has mutated into a totalitarian monster that will not waver from its crusade of inflicting damage on anyone who thinks differently..I am waiting for them to rule that people are prejudice against each other and unConstitutional and should be expelled and heavily fined (so that they can fund themselves and inflict even more damage on the world) from the United States.

The vast majority of the time I disagree with the positions of the ACLU. On the otherhand, I love the ACLJ. I love Jay Sekulow!!!

Where do you get your information from?

The American system of government is founded on two counterbalancing principles: that the majority of the people governs, through democratically elected representatives; and that the power even of a democratic majority must be limited, to ensure individual rights.

In answer to your question, as a Christian, they ACLU isn't my enemy, unless you can prove it otherwise

I am a follower of Jesus and those involved in the ACLU are not my enemy for I have made God's Word my authoritative guide for all of my beliefs and actions.

God's Word says:

(Ephesians 6:10-12 NIV) "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. {11} Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. {12} For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

We need to pray for those that are a part of the ACLU and love them. God loves them. Jesus gave His life for them. By praying for people and loving people, we will tear down the devil's schemes.

I have prayed for you today.

Know that you are loved!

Yes. My family is members of the ACLJ. Very few know the truth, as you and I know, about this evil empire.

The purpose of the ACLU is to protect the Bill of Rights. Period. End of story.
