iam at the starting stage of learning accountany concepts such as book keeping.can you give me the details of the things i need to complete including the certifications to become an auditor.what work experience should i have and in what sort of job?

this depends on which country you are in
to become auditors, most people obtain a bachelor degree in accounting and then apply for job as audit trainees in accounting firms
to become a qualified auditor (the one who signs audit reports), you will need to have several years (depending on which country you would like to do your practice) of relevant working experience (i.e. audit) and pass the CPA examinations

You dont want to be one....trust me...Iam in the audit field....everyone hates me....it is your job and people think you are trying to find errors, mistakes and frauds....ifinding hard to wriggle out of this profession...stuck here and not sure how iam supposed to begin all over from scratch.....

But if you want to be one...check with your local chartered accountant chapter....different organisations have different regulations...in some countries you need to undergo articleship/internship and some countries do not...so better check out.....
