Take some time apart to let each person cool off and collect their thoughts. Then come back together and discuss/talk about the situation. Use "I" statements so as to not lay blame and be sure to both listen and hear what the other person is saying. Give them a chance to speak and finish; don't interupt. Once each person has had their say, then try and find a solution that gives common ground to both and makes both parties happy.

if neither of you is convinced with the other one opinion and reasons then just agree to disagree and do it with a nice smile and respect for the other person , its something normal to disagree with people just don't let it cause you to lose a friend .
