I have a friend who is came to the U.S for continue study.
but recently he have met a girl and they both will be getting marry in the next few week.
* he is think about to drop the class.

my question is
is it OK 4 him to stop attempt the class before he getting married ? or he have to continue take the class till he is married ?

any advise is appreciate.

as he is in the country on a student visa, by dropping out, he would lose his student status and get deported. if he marries a u.s. citizen while here he could then apply for permanent status while still in school. contact a immigration attorney for a free consult. they can get through the red tape faster also.

oh gosh tell him keep the studies up it would be a big mistake for him to drop the studies
he could be put on a plane back to were he came from or be put in a detention center for a very long time then get sent back

if he stops being a student within any short period of getting married it is going to look MIGHTY suspicious to an immigration officer.


if he came to study he needs to continue studying or he risks deportation

i think he should go back to his own country to find a wife. you need to take an English class.

TELL YOUR FRIEND TO KEEP GOING TO CLASSES AS HE WILL BE ABLE TO GET A BETTER JOB ONCE HE IS FINISHED.AS FOR GETTING MARRIED HE SHOULD REALIZE IT WILL COST HIM MONEY EG RENTING A PLACE TO LIVE AND THE COST OF FOOD ETC ETC

he needs to stay in school while he is changing his status with immigration because if not they may make him return to his country in order to fix his status.

if he speaks english like you do he should go back to wherever he came from and take you with him.
