Why are we paying such high taxes? Let's start with sending illegal immigrants home.?

After we send home the illegal immigrants, let's start turning away unproductive immigrants. Historically, immigrants were turned away if they could not prove they could become a productive member of our society (i.e. did they have a good trade/skill that we could use here?). If they didn't have a viable skill, or there skill was currently not available in the work force, they were sent home. Nowadays, anyone can come here and start collecting government money that will allow them to get by without a job. It's a meager means of living but it's still cash out of your pocket and mine.

Why are the least paid Americans footing the majority of the bill for these programs? Very few, if any, other countries have programs like we do. Why can a woman have five children, each from different fathers, stay at home and get more tax free money than a newly graduated college student?

Well, the reason we HAVE so many illegal immigrants is because we give away way waaaay too much money in social programs, to both illegal and legal residents. If we shift responsibility back to the individual communities and churches, who will not be so free with the money that isn't theirs, we'll have both more personal responsibility taken, and less illegal immigration.

So. Stop giving away money to people who don't know how to manage it, let the churches feed the hungry (if praying before meals offends people, let 'em find an athiest shelter to feed them!), stop paying girls to have babies that they can't support because they aren't married to the fathers, and VOILA! The government bureaucracy gets cut in half (yeah, right, they WANT to spend money so they don't lose their jobs) and our taxes go way down.

Oh, and I DEFINATELY think that a child born in this country to an illegal mother should NOT get automatic citizenship OR WIC/Welfare benefits.

It's not the American way to reward those who are actually productive. We tax em' The harder you/we work, the more they look to you to pay taxes. Did you ever hear of the IRS auditing someone who gets welfare?
On the reverse end, the poorer you are, the more the Feds help you. You lazy or on drugs? You get help.
That's what's going on in the USA now.
If I didn't know any better, and I have pondered this a great while, I'd say the government of our country is afraid of anyone who will create a stink and stand up for what they believe in. They don't want another social revolution. If people threaten to disrupt biz as usual, which would disrupt commerce and tax collection, they (disruptors) get what they want.
That's the way it plays out.
You legalize all these Juan Come Lately's, they will soon pitch a fit for these freebees they want, cuz that's their style down in Mexico. That's their understanding of government and politics. The only diff. between here and there, is that when you demo there ...you have to expect to be beaten by the Federales and then you don't get what you rallied for anyway.
Here, if you demo, they role out the red carpet for you and start feeding you whatever it takes to keep you passive.
If we want to beat the illegal immigration thing, we need to do a little rioting or demonstrating or bellyaching to all the king pins that run this charade of a government.
Threaten productivity in the USA ....and you will get what you want. It's all about money, to the people at the top of the food chain.

First and for most, the illegals in this country do not get to set back and have special programs, that take tax money... Boy I'll tell ya there is so many Americans that are Blind. Do you know how much money is being spent on the war? Have you noticed that when other Countries are in need the USA is there for them! Our great Government could not even be there for the people who's life was destroyed in the Hurricane, until what days later, and then that money was spent on a lot of bull ****.
OK then we have the little girls that are out having babies and who are taken care of them.. That is right We the people. There is alot that needs to be taken care of in this country.
But we need to stop blaming it on the illegals. That is just an excuse.
And think about it, would you go pick in the fields for a few dollars a day? I know that i would not. So this country needs them..

I hate to break the news to you but your high taxes go to benefit schools , the war in Iraq , SSI , Infrastructure , and all the other little perks we've gotten use to that make our country what it is. I don't think the illegal immagrants are getting any big tax breaks or food stamps or medical cards.
What you are doing is called deflected aggression. You are not happy with the situation , it makes you angry so you are choosing to blame someone/something that is not a threat to you or can not defend itself. High taxes and immigrants are two separate issues.

We pay such high taxes because we need to pay for the us misteak of starting a war they ain't ever gonna end, a war someone where we wasn't wanted in the first place. the government is sending all this money oversea's for that war, why doesn't the government spend it's money on it's own country by looking out for the homeless and helping out that way. illegals have nothing to do with paying high taxes..duh!!

No other countries have programs for immigrants as America does; welfare of any kind for immigrants legal or illegal has become the Democratic Party's best vote-buying tool. This also serves to keep US citizens divided, which allows government centralized planners to fleece tax-payers endlessly.

A short-term solution: Remove voting rights for welfare recipients, whereby only those subsidizing welfare have a say in whose elected.

I totally agree!! Why should WE as LEGAL citizens have to pay for ILLEGAL immigrants to get governmental services WE pay for!! Those services are for LEGAL citizens!! If we have citizens abusing it, well, that needs to be curtailed also, but it is no justification for illegal people to abuse it also, they're NOT CITIZENS!! HELLO, PEOPLE!!

I don't believe legal immigrants should be turned away b/c they are 'unproductive', they just need to get some training.

By "America" I assume you're talking about the government. It's not the job of the government to take care of anyone except against foreign armies during war. People who rely on money from the government to live are a waste of space, be they citizens or not.
