I am bipolar and all of us can be hard to live with if we are not receiving proper treatment. It is not our intent to be difficult. A chemical imbalance in our brains causes us to react differently to situations than a normally functioning person does. We have sudden and unexpected mood changes. Anger out bursts are common. But still it is no excuse, we are still responsible for our behavior.

The web site links I am providing below are very good. Please check them out. They can provide you with skills on coping with a loved one or helping them to cope and seek treatment.

I hope I have helped. I wish you both good luck.

If you wish to ask me more or just need to talk contact me at tls3123283@yahoo.com

Sincerely,
Terry

I have a bipolar brother. Anyone with bipolar disorder is hard to live with. They have no connections between their logic functions, which allow people to react rationally, and their basic instincts, which cause them to react only with a fight or flight action. If a situation sets them off, they usually swing from one extreme to the other. Severe depression and unhappiness to extreme anger and aggression. Sometimes they have no memory or a fake memory of a situation. They see what is most convenient to their mindset. Some Bipolar individuals have only minor problems, easily corrected by medication. Others have extreme problems and medication does almost nothing for them. My best advice? Speak softly and have patience.

because rejection is the hardest Emotion to address. men can get extremely violent, women can pass off into the deep end! It hurts plenty, and maximum of those issues make you freeze up interior because you in straight forward words don't have the arrogance it takes to confront your own thoughts up the front and own. you're baring your soul to this individual and letting your self in for a painful journey, likely? I propose what are you settling for? a minimum of now you get to talk with him yet might want to you nevertheless talk with him if he rejects you? And today that feeling of getting to talk with him feels top notch, or maybe that notwithstanding extremely small even as taken away will damage plenty. So both tell him immediately out, or write him a short letter and then get his answer and comprehend once and for all, or purely settle for being acquaintances and get over it, incredibly in case you imagine that is one sided. ask your self what has he genuinely finished to make you experience that he feels a similar as you do? reality time is a daunting time, yet I continually locate that is extra efficient to gently pass in and say the way you experience and gently look ahead to his reply. If he says sure, you pass from there. yet when he delays or stalls or says out proper NO, then ask no matter if that is fantastic for you 2 to proceed to be acquaintances? a minimum of from this aspect you could pass on. today all you're doing is laying aside the reality.

Because bipolar people have swing moods, this use to be called manic depressive, medications will help. They are either really happy or really depressed and you never know when the mood swings will hit. Gee it is almost like menopause.

Your answer is in your question. Anybody who has an unstable personality is difficult to deal with. And obviously this includes bipolar husbands, friends, relatives, acquaintenances, and strangers as well.
