Because they are going to Heaven's Club Med!..."They get to go" ...cause they are just better and of an "especially called fiber"....
It isn't any fun to go to a select and elect place....unless you can look down on the "unincluded"... the "inferiors" turning in the lake of fire...
They were dumb...We were smart and chose right...Went to the right Church...proclaimed the right name...denounced "the enemy" steadfastly...
Hmmm...where was it along the line...that we forgot the "teacher" was about tolerance, compassion, and all inclusiveness ...Oh well ...

It is true and it DOES matter. Scripture tells us ....
John 3:16-19
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
He died for all mankind, that is true, however the conditional states "...whoever believes in Him shall not perish...". So, it DOES make a difference what people believe. We all are faced with a choice with eternal consequences...God or the adversary. Fence-sitting is not an option, because if you do not choose God, then your default choice is the other side. If you turn away from the truth, you turn towards and embrace lies...it is as simple as that.
Choose life! You have a choice now. Once you die...you cannot change your mind or plead ignorance.I will pray for you.

Jesus didn't die for everyone's sins as you are interpretting it. The premise is that before Jesus that only the very special in humanity that were specifically saved by God were indeed saved, but what Jesus did was make is possible for everyone to be redeemed on equal footing. This of course still requires a process of faith and belief but the path is now open to everyone where before it was limited to the select few.
Hope that helps you a bit more than the bible-thumpers above.

Jesus did not just die for Jews, He died for everyone. The reason is because before God sent His only son Jesus to die for our transgressions, we would have been judged alone and solely based on our deeds.
Since none of us are perfect and we all sin, Jesus was crucified so that we will be judged with Him as a sort of validating person, sort of like having an attorney when you go to court.
Jesus will be able to verify our worth before God almighty. Even Jews must proclaim the name of Jesus and repent of their sins. There are no perfect people.
Therefore, salvation is free and the only thing you must do in return is believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and ask for forgiveness of your sins.
Man's natural tendency is to rebel against God just as most teens do with their parents but God still thinks you're worthy and when you overcome the natural tendency to rebel, He will open your eyes and your heart and you'll be happier than you ever were before.
There are still trials that Christians must face but the rewards in Heaven will be abundant.

So lets change this a bit and say: " All people are winners!"
Questions now start bombarding the mind.
-winners of what?
-is there a race?
-what do I have to do to be part of the "race"?
-are there prizes or rewards at the end of the race?
-where does the race really end?
And yes, people constantly walk up to you and tell you that you are a winner...but how do you know for sure? Will you just sit there and say you are a winner, you have nothing to do but sit there and be a winner, or do you go out and try to prove everybody wrong? Or do you actively become involved in the race and be part of the "end of the race" by being the best participant you can?

First and foremost I am NOT a christian. I have however read the Bible extensivley in study and here is my answer: In the old testiment when a person committed a sin they were made to sacrifice an animal according to their sin such animals were of birds or bigger for bigger sins. When Jesus supposedly came around he was put to be humankinds sacrifice to prevent future sacrifical displays of animals as was done in the pagan counterparts which they were trying to avoid being like. Hope that made some sense. Best wishes

Our first parents lacked faith, fell into sin, and as a result, became slaves to Satan, and suffered physical and spiritual death. So did all their children, and their children's children, all the way up to us who are living today. Jesus was the only person in the universe who was qualified to reverse the process, and put things back the way God intended. That done, God now leaves it up to us to decide whether we want to accept Jesus as our leader, or choose to keep following Satan, the devil. No one follows a leader in whom they have no faith, or who leads them where they do not want to go. If you faithfully follow Jesus, and keep his commandments, your reward is to share equally with Jesus in the love, power, riches, eternal life, and all the other glories of God. If you faithfully follow Satan, you get to share death and hell with him, as that is all Satan has to offer. The reason Christians are particular about what they do and what they believe, is because they're commanded to search out and to live God's truth, so they won't be deceived, like their first parents were, and once again fall away from God. Living God's way on earth is also good preparation for spending eternity with him in heaven. It's that simple. God is totally fair, totally just, totally loving, and totally merciful. He doesn't force us to do anything. He always gives us a free choice. That's more than Satan ever could, or would do. Not being a savior myself, I can only conjecture. I imagine yours truly going to all that trouble - hand-to-mouth existence, celibacy (well, maybe), ridicule, torture and death - jut to save all of humanity. And yes, I can see where I'd appreciate at least the occasional "thank-you" note. It's the least they could do. After all, I could have smitten the whole bloody lot with a wink of an eye and made another bunch just like them.
I'm not sure I'd send all the ingrates into eternal pain and suffering. For one thing that does sound like it would take a devilish amount of planning and time.

He died for everyone's sins, but you have to accept Him as your Savior and Lord. Also, He requires that you sin no longer. This is according to the Bible.
Same as in a court room, if there was an ace attorney that could 100% get you off your rap, would you accept him? The same goes for Jesus, you have to accept him.

actually we have the choice to believe about the salvation or not. yes it's true that Jesus died for our sins but for me the scenario of Jesus Christ's death is just a temporary death and we all know that he was resurrected. That resurrection indicates that Jesus is still alive.Actually there is still salvation because the death of Jesus awares us about good and evil and that we have the choice between these two concepts.Jesus wants us to be ready, meaning he gives us a chance to choose and by the time he comes he will save us from falling on Satan's hands through that final salvation in which there is a judgement day.We have to believe in Jesus to get salvation because it's only in him that we can be save.If we believe in him and have faith in him we can be save.

It is only when you accept the fact that you are a sinner and recognize that Christ died for those sins that you are saved. Jesus died for all but simple knowledge of that does not save you. The act of admitting that we need a saviour (because we can't save ourselves) and submitting our lives to God is what the sinner's prayer is about. We are saved by God's grace through our faith in Christ. Until we reach that conclusion we will not be saved.
